Caddie Digital Terrain Modelling (DTM) Application Online Course UK

This course is for anyone involved in Civil Engineering, Surveying or the Construction Industry dealing with real world sites where levels can be anything but flat! Caddie's DTM provides the perfect tool for preparing site models, sections and contours needed to fully develop a scheme. Sites can be viewed from any angle to get a better appreciation of the opportunities and challenges they offer and images such as aerial photographs can be draped over the site to view site features. At the conclusion of the course, the delegate should understand how to create ‘TIN’ models from points or contours, how to level and recontour sites, create sections and do cut and fill calculations.

Prerequisites: The delegate should have completed the Getting Started with Caddie Online Training or Classroom Course or have the equivalent self-taught experience. A good working knowledge of the principles of terrain modelling is also required.

Enrol anytime. Complete within 4 weeks. A Certificate of Achievement is awarded when the whole course is successfully achieved.
