Whilst the annotation commands refer to the finishes, vector lines styles are also annotative. However, unlike finishes which can be assigned individually, DWG specifies the annotation of vector line styles is set globally within the drawing. The display default in Caddie is to set the variable to FALSE (don't show), but it should be noted that some other systems using the DWG format may have the system variable set to TRUE (Show).

This setting is similar to the PSLTSCALE setting but is specific to the model. If the sheet uses the PSLTSCALE flag set to TRUE (Scale viewports is ticked) then setting this flag to TRUE allows the user to view how the linestyles will appear at various scales by selecting the model space annotation scale from the Object Properties dialogue (with no commands running). The default in Caddie is to set this flag to “False”. This is done to avoid confusion with the scales that are drawn. If it is used to check the display of linestyles at different scales it is recommended to set it false when returning to drawing. |
