System Variables are used in Caddie to control the environment of the drawing. Some of the system variables are saved in the Caddie general settings which will affect any open drawing, new or old. Other system variables are stored in the current drawing and only affect that drawing. In the latter case if the settings were saved in the template drawing, these setting would be used by any new drawing using the template.
To enter, or change a system variable got to UTILITIES-->SYSTEM-->SET SYSTEM VARIABLE. You will now se a prompt on the command line asking for the variable. Type the variable and the prompt will specified the current value which can be changed to a valid value
