Caddie Quick Start 2D / 3D AEC Training Course (2 Days).The perfect course for Caddie users wanting to bring themselves up to date with the
latest tools and available in Caddie, dealing with everything you need to know to get
you drawing effectively with the latest Caddie in just one day. The course begins by
introducing you to the basic concepts and principles of drawing, teaching you how
to use Caddie’s flexible drafting tools to prepare surveys and create your own designs.
You will learn how to make and edit blocks, incorporate hatches, colour fills,
text, dimensions and even photographs within your drawings, all using simple to
follow exercises. And once you have mastered the basics, we take you further into
the system, showing you how produce floor plans, detailed sections and elevations,
using Caddie’s fantastically quick architectural tools; arranging and printing your
drawings on your own title sheets.
Aim of the course
To provide an easy to follow introduction to .DWG drafting and modelling with Caddie, enabling those completing the course to be able to draw accurately to scale, add Text, Dimensions, Leaders, Hatching and standard title sheets to their drawings, then arrange them for printing using scaled Viewports on print Layout Sheets. Delegates will also learn how to produce architectural design drawings using Caddie's Build tools, creating a building model and deriving automated plan, section and elevation views from the model created.
