DetCopyDetail copy - extraction
Extract a portion of a drawing to be increased or decreased in size for detail extraction.
Select an option for the detail copy to the original or the active layer. Trace the required section of the drawing for detail extraction in a clockwise direction. Tracing around in a clockwise direction will display a dotted line of the indicated area for extraction. Select Option-End to close the shape.
Indicate a point to translate and a desired new position. The &scale, &rotate and &mirror options can be selected before the new desired position is indicated.
Caddie will cut out, scale/mirror/rotate the defined section and draw the detail extraction at the indicated position.
This detail extraction is placed in the clipboard for pasting to other Caddie drawings, or to other Windows applications.
Only works with lines, arcs and circles. Polylines, ellipses and splines are ignored. Option-End to terminate area definition. Define the position for the extraction and new position as before.
