It can often be difficult to establish just how good or bad your CAD system is in terms of compatibility so we have taken the decision to make freely available one of our simple compatibility test drawings so that anyone using a CAD system can do a basic test in their own time at no cost. 

The issues relating to compatibility are widespread, ranging from the simple ‘Will the drawing look the same’ to the far more subtle ‘Will the intelligence included within the drawing be retained’.

The compatibility test drawing is designed to cover only the basic aspects of drawing compatibility that would be expected of any DWG compatible CAD system.
