African
Architecture
This
modernist
house is
situated
in Eagle
Canyon
Golf
Estate
on a
restricted
width
north
facing
corner
stand
with
open
space
and
views to
the east
and
south.
The
narrow
north
facing
width
forced
an
elongated
design
to the
east and
west.
The
design
layout
is
essentially
a
combination
of
rectangular
brickwork
and
concrete
cubes
staggered
to
ensure
that all
living
and
bedroom
areas
obtain
the
crucial
north
exposure.

When
asking
users
what we
can
offer
that
really
makes a
difference
to them,
the most
frequently
heard
answer
of late
has been
some
variant
on
'Personal
Interaction'.
We have
instigated
several
things
recently
to
address
this:
In
Africa
we have
embarked
on a
number
of
regional
tours;
so far
Cape
Town,
Namibia
and
Nelspruit
have
been
visited.
In the
UK we
are
working
with the
CUKUG to
hold an
additional
northern
meeting,
and we
have
appointed
a
reseller
in
Iceland!
All in
all a
pretty
busy
schedule
considering
the
number
of
public
holidays
